Rosegreen produced their second win in the West junior hurling league with a hard fought four points victory over Cappawhite in Rosegreen Community field on Tuesday evening. The first half was very even until Diarmuid Quinlan got in for goal to put Rosegreen three points up. After that Cappawhite finished the half strongly to go in at the break leading by 1-07  1-04. As the second half got underway, Rosegreen got stuck into the game to score some excellent points and led by three but were hit by a second Cappawhite goal. Rosegreen worked hard to go into a two point lead again but were rocked by a third Capawhite goal with five minutes left. Mike Griffen was sent in full forward and he immediately got onto the end of a long ball by Ger Cummins to score a vital goal.  Late points by M Griffen and D Quinlan got Rosegreen over the line.
